DR. PHILIP HAYAB, AN AUGUST VISITOR ON THE TYAP WIKIMEDIA USER GROUP'S EVENT...

Over the past 3 weeks starting from on the 15 June to 30 June 2024, the Tyap wikimedia user group had had 3 phases of wikimedia tutoring with the youth in Atyap land at the school of Agric samaru. It was actually not easy for the organizers and the participants, though!

During the event, dignified personalities attended the event in several occasions. But a great and meaningful number of them who made it to the last phase caught the hearts of many and Left many in awe is the presence of well respected  and royal figures who appeared the venue unexpectedly. These figures includes:

Dr Philip Hayab (linguist),

Dr John Bala Gora (Dan madamin Atyap chiefdom),

Mr Henry Mamman (department of education Abuja)

Mr Bonat Nathaniel Yohanna (AKA afaiAtyap), and many more.

In their response, Dr Hayab speak to the organizers and participants at the event and charged them and the entire Atyap youth to remain resolute in their pursuit for history. He also encouraged them to make use of the opportunity they have with the elders alive especially for adequate knowledge of their history.

Mr Henry Mamman, in his appreciation for the coming of Dr Philip said he is super excited to have the privilege to meet with him (Dr Hayab) and thanks him immensely for identifying with the visionary youth who have the quest to preserving their own God gifted language for the generation unborn. In the end, Mr Mamman appreciate the organizers and the newly trained wikimedians to put God ahead in their journey for language preservation.

DR John Bala Gora responded inline with Mr Mamman and said he is most grateful to God for bridging in for him to meet Dr Hayab whom he has been reading his books, watching him on television and also hearing so much about him especially when it comes to matters history in southern Kaduna. Dr Bala Gora thanked the august visitor on behalf of the Atyap traditional council and all the Atyap people and encourage him to keep the brightest fire burning for the sake of the future generation.

As the event continues, the Atyap wikimedia's director, Mr. Kambai Akau Levi appreciate the presence all and honored Mr Bonat (afaiAtyap) with the slot of ambassadorial position. He called the Mr Henry to present the wikimedia's T-shirt and p-cap to the newly appointed ambassador to symbolize his

appointment and involvement to the Atyap wikimedia user group. Mr Bonat thanks the user group for the honor and promises to keep been steadfast to the development and promotion of the Tyap wikimedia user group
